The Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) proclaimed January as School Director Recognition Month, and Solanco School District has honored its board of directors.
The school board members spend dozens of hours each month voluntarily leading schools and making decisions regarding school budgets, personnel matters, curricula, and the maintenance of school facilities. The members of the board of directors are volunteers. They are not paid for the time and energy they provide in service to students, parents, school staff members and the entire community.
