Twenty-nine Lebanon Valley College students are participating in an immersive study-away experience this spring in countries including China, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, and Spain. Local students include Samantha Lowe of Mount Wolf.
Lowe, a graduate of Northeastern High School, is studying in Valladolid, Spain, and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders and Spanish. The study-away program, for Spanish majors and nonmajors, is centered in the northern regional capital city of Valladolid. Students take Spanish-instructed classes at the Universitas Castellae in Spanish literature, history, and culture and live in Spanish-speaking homes.
