Free tax preparation services offered by the AARP Foundation will again be hosted through the Downingtown Senior Center. The program is geared toward seniors and low- to medium-income individuals and households.
Tax preparation will take place at Downingtown United Methodist Church, 751 E. Lancaster Ave., by appointment only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting Feb. 12. Readers may call the center at 610-269-3939 to make an appointment. Those seeking to have their returns prepared need to bring photo ID and all tax-related documents, including their Social Security identification, 2017 tax return and banking information (check) if they wish to direct deposit.
