The Avon Grove Recreation Association has posted its results for the youth basketball program's second week.
Girls' Elementary Division: First Baptist Church of Kennett Square defeated John Gallen Photographer 8-2. Hayley Henley and Kaylee Robertson each scored two points for First Baptist, while Brooklyn Hafich scored two points for Gallen. BSN Sports won 18-4 over Linda's Hair Techniques. Samantha Glatts netted four points for BSN, while Sienna Warner and Mia DeLio each scored two points for Linda's.
Boys' Elementary Division: Filacheck's Furniture pulled out an 18-16 win over Oxford Plumbing and Heating. Gavin Wise, Aaron Felts and Jack Tison each scored two points for Filacheck's, while Caleb Reeves popped in eight points for Oxford Plumbing and Heating. Davis Accounting beat Nowland Associates Contractors 16-8. Luke Martin, Wyatt Smith and Louis Ihrig each scored two points for Davis, while Nowland had two points each from Hayden Duckworth, Reilly Duckworth, Connor Jacoby and Dylan Gallick. Yerkes Insurance squeezed out a 12-10 win over Cari Orthodontics. Logan Brazell and Garrett Brockson each contributed two points for Yerkes, while Will McKamey netted two points for Cari.
Girls' Junior/Senior Division: McCormick Orthodontics won 18-12 over Bonner-Costa-McMullen-Wisse Dental Associates. Jessica Ziegler and Andrea Ouijano each netted eight points for McCormick, while Bonner-Costa-McMullen-Wisse Dental Associates had four points from Katherine Albietz.
Boys' Junior/Senior Division: DuVall Bus Services defeated McCormick Orthodontics 33-14. Brady Bollacker popped in 14 points for DuVall, while Gavin Robertson netted six points for McCormick. K&T Automotive and Towing took the win 24-15 over Tom's TV. Spencer Needam and Tyler Gent each contributed six points for K&T, while Tom's TV had two points each from Tejvir Gill, Dougie Kleintop, Michael Kent, Rider Nicholl and Colton Edwards.
