Great Beginnings Preschool at the First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, 101 S. Decatur St., Strasburg, has openings available in the Monday and/or Wednesday morning 2-year-old classes, the Tuesday and Thursday 3-year-old classes, and the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday prekindergarten classes that will start in September. Parents are welcome to stop by anytime to visit the classrooms. Private tours are also available.
The preschool aims to provide a nurturing environment, opportunities for socialization and personal accomplishments, introduction to a variety of educational concepts to prepare them for kindergarten, physical education, art, music, science, story time, individual and group play, field trips, special classroom visitors, and daily snacks. Parent volunteers can earn tuition discounts.
