The Berks County Parks and Recreation Department will partner with the Berks County Fly Tyers to present a six-week session of beginner fly tying classes. The classes will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, March 5 to April 9, at the Berks County Heritage Center, 1102 Red Bridge Road, Reading.
The course is open to beginners and novice fly-fishing enthusiasts, and the classes are designed to provide students with the basic knowledge of fly patterns and tying methods. There will be a limited number of tying tools and equipment available for beginners' classes. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment with them.
