Suren Clark has been named winner of the Marticville Middle School Geography Bee. Suren, a seventh-grader, was one of 15 finalists who competed in the bee following a schoolwide competition. He beat out Natalie Myer, an eighth-grader, for the award.
After earning the title, Suren completed the National Geographic GeoBee online qualifying test for a chance to participate in the Pennsylvania Geography Bee. The top 100 students in Pennsylvania will move on the state competition.
