St. John's Episcopal Church, Compass, 1520 W. Kings Highway, Gap, has scheduled upcoming events. An Ash Wednesday service with Imposition of Ashes and Holy Eucharist Rite 1 will be held on Wednesday, March 6, at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, March 9, at 7 p.m., a Lenten Taize service with music by the choir will take place. On Fridays, March 15 through April 12, at 6 p.m., there will be Stations of the Cross followed by covered dish meatless meals and fellowship.
