Recently, the Little Falcons Preschool at West Fallowfield Christian School (WFCS) participated in the Keystone to Reading Book Award Program, sponsored by the Chester County Reading Association (CCRA). The purpose of the program is to encourage elementary school children in primary and intermediate grades to read a variety of quality books.
CCRA representative Jane Schultz recently visited the preschool to deliver eight award-winning books to the class. She also read one of the books to the children. In the near future, the class is slated read all of the books and vote along with other sites across Chester County for their favorite book. The winning title will be announced, and one of the books will be given to the school's classroom.
