Seven Lutheran pastors will speak during a series of Lenten breakfasts to be held by the Lutheran Men's Club of York County. Breakfasts will take place at 7 a.m. at Lyndon Diner, 1353 Kenneth Road, York.
The breakfasts will be held each Wednesday of the Lenten season. The schedule is as follows: March 6 with the Rev. Dr. Robert Driesen, retired Bishop of the Upper Susquehanna Synod; March 13 with the Rev. Beth Schlegel, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church, York; March 20 with the Rev. Kathy Swords, pastor of Shiloh Lutheran Church; March 27 with the Rev. Katrina Holland, pastor of Quickel Lutheran Church; April 3 with the Rev. Daniel Biery, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Shrewsbury; April 10 with the Rev. Dr. Alan Watt, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, York; and April 17 with the Rev. Thomas McKee, secretary, Lower Susquehanna Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Additionally, the Rev. Christina Minnich, pastor of Salem Lutheran Church, Jacobus, will speak on the topic "Deborah: An Early Judge of Israel" following a dinner at SpiriTrust Lutheran - The Village at Kelly Drive on Tuesday, March 26. The event will begin at 6 p.m.
