Kenneth E. Jackson of Severn, Md., and Roy and Barbara Leiphart of Red Lion have announced the engagement of their son, Kenneth N. Jackson of Red Lion, to Melanie Kramer of Columbia.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Larry and Ellen Kramer of Myerstown. She graduated from a homeschool program in 2008 and received bachelor's and master's degrees from Alvernia University in 2012 and 2015, respectively. She is employed by The Hershey Company in Hershey.
Mr. Jackson graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School in 2011 and Drexel University in 2017. He is employed by Johnson Controls in New Freedom.
A September wedding is planned.
