The Ephrata Community Health Foundation board has elected two new officers and a new member for 2019. The new chairman is Gil Sager of Ephrata, a financial adviser. The new vice chairman is Frank Reid of Millersville, chief executive officer of a consulting firm. The new board member is Joseph S. Annese, D.O., of Lancaster, a retired otolaryngologist.
In addition to Sager, Reid, and Annese, the 2019 members and officers are Joyce Hoover, CPA, secretary/treasurer; Leon Ray Burkholder; Patrick N. Glavce; Virginia L. Good; Michael Kane; William E. Longenecker, D.O.; Michele M. McHenry; Harvey H. Nolt; John M. Porter Jr.; Carrie E. Willetts; and Anita C. Yoder.
The Ephrata Community Health Foundation works to improve the health of the local community by supporting the nonprofit and charitable endeavors of WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. Its board ensures that all funds designated to the Ephrata Community Health Foundation support WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital and the local community.
