St. Matthew's School will host a Winter Carnival at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 2440 Conestoga Road, Chester Springs, on Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All activities will be especially designed for children ages 2 to 7. The event will feature games, children's crafts, face painting, a bake sale, a balloon magician, a roaming musician, a giveaway drawing of baskets, and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds will support preschool and kindergarten programs.
In addition, Cradles to Crayons will host a collection of new and gently used baby and children's clothing, toys, and outerwear. The organization provides essential items for children from birth through age 12 who are living in homeless or low-income situations.
