Two Lampeter-Strasburg (L-S) School District teachers were recently recognized.
Lampeter-Strasburg High School social studies teacher Adam Titter was selected by faculty and staff as Teacher of the Quarter for the second marking period. Titter has been with the school district for 16 years. He is a Lancaster native and a graduate of Manheim Township High School. Titter teaches American Cultures and Local History. He advises the school's Model UN chapter and is president of the Susquehanna Valley Model United Nations Conference. He coaches soccer and resides in York with his wife and three children.
Martin Meylin Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) teacher Jennifer Risser was selected by her colleagues to be the Teacher of the Month for January. Risser currently teaches seventh grade classes and is the head of the school's ELA department. A member of the Martin Meylin faculty since 2008, she helps to run the annual spelling bee and is co-chair of the school's first Reading Olympics.
