The next Amateur Herbalist program, "Early Spring Herbs," will be presented on Wednesday, March 13, at 7 p.m. at the Lebanon Valley Agricultural Center classrooms, 2120 Cornwall Road, Lebanon.
The class will showcase the early herbs of spring that shine during the beginning of the growing season. Attendees will learn about these herbs and ways to use them to capture their flavors at their peak.
The registration fee for the program includes handouts. To register, readers may call the central registration center at 877-345-0691 or visit https://extension.psu.edu/early-spring-herbs.
The Amateur Herbalist is a special interest study group organized to provide an opportunity to study the growing, harvesting, and uses of herbs. The study group, a project of the Lebanon County Master Gardener program, is open to all people who are interested in learning about herbs in the kitchen, decorative herbs, herbs in cosmetics, and craft uses of herbs.
