The Shiloh Lions Club will host its 11th annual Hoops for Sight fundraiser on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Court, York. The fundraiser supports research to find a cure for retinal diseases, including retinitis pigmentosa.
The event raises funds by providing participants with the opportunity to shoot foul shots with the support of pledges they collect. There will be prizes for the most foul shots made in all age categories as well as prizes for pledges brought in to the event. The Lions Club will also conduct giveaway drawings on the day of the event, with more than 25 prizes available. Food, including hot dogs and baked goods, will also be available for purchase.
