Never Quit II: A Fight to End Muscular Dystrophy will take place on Saturday, March 23, at Appalachian Harley Davidson, 6695 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg. The event is the second annual benefit show presented by Super Star Wrestling (SSW). The inaugural event raised more than $4,500.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. for a meet-and-greet with the wrestlers, music, and a gift basket giveaway drawing. Bell time will be 6 p.m.
This year's show will feature a double main event involving two steel cage matches and another match. Returning from last year will be the Rudy Rumble, a 30-man match in which the winner will receive a guaranteed shot at the SSW Heavyweight Championship. The match is named in memory of Jorge Rudy, an SSW fan who lost his battle with muscular dystrophy two years ago.
All wrestlers have donated their time so that every dollar raised will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). For more information, readers may call 717-443-2593.
