Free Throw Competition Winners Honored

The winners of the Knights of Columbus St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Council 6810 Free Throw Championship were honored at an awards ceremony held during halftime of the Franklin & Marshall men's basketball game on Feb. 14.

The Council 6810 competition, held at St. Leo the Great School on Jan. 20, drew contestants from East Earl, Elizabethtown, Lancaster, Lititz, Millersville, Quarryville, Strasburg and Washington Boro. The contestants represented 17 area schools.

The winning boys and girls, ages 9 to 14, received Council Champion certificates and engraved trophies. Each of the winners also earned the right to compete in the District 61 competition held on Feb. 10 at St. Leo the Great School in Lancaster. Winners from the District level may move on to regional, state, national and international levels.

Winners included Natalie Cellucci, 9; Benjamin Rimert, 9; Roman Clemson, 10; Mackenzie Wagner, 11; Peyton Englert, 11; Josie Janssen, 12; Tony Cellucci, 12; Mary Bolesky, 13; Kendal Janssen, 14; and Kamrin Carroll, 14.
