Jump For Joy Plans Session

Jump for Joy, a nondenominational Christian fitness program, was slated to begin its spring session on March 19. There will be 12 classes this session. This is the 31st year that Jump for Joy is providing area women opportunities for regular fitness and fellowship.

Classes are set for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:05 to 7:15 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Trinity United Church of Christ, 40 W. Pine St., Palmyra, on the corner of South Railroad St.

The instructor and program creator, Lynn Kuhn, will lead class participants through a complete body workout via aerobic dance routines choreographed to upbeat Christian and positive mainstream music. The one-hour workout will combine stretches, cardio, strength, and balance moves. The dance routines will always be followed by a core workout, stretches, and acool-down.

Each class will begin with a 10-minute devotional and prayer time as the program aims to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Individuals are invited to try their first class for free. For more information, readers may call Kuhn at 717-838-4682 or email Jump4joy87@verizon.net.
