Students Study Abroad

Two area students are among the dozens of students at Cedar Crest College, Allentown, who traveled to Athens, Greece, as part of the Carmen Twillie Ambar Sophomore Expedition. The local students include Madison McGowan of Birdsboro and Lauren Feeney of Morgantown.

The Sophomore Expedition is a guaranteed study-abroad program. In the spring semester of their sophomore year, students participate in a series of classes to prepare them for the trip. Then they spend eight to 10 days traveling as a class to an international destination where they participate in a number of service activities.
