Center Posts Special Events

Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer two special events to the community. The programs are free unless noted otherwise, but preregistration is required by contacting governordick@hotmail.com or 717-964-3808 and leaving a name and phone number in case the program is canceled.

"Preparing for Spotted Lanternfly, An Environmental Threat to Our Region" will be presented by Jon Schach, an ISA board-certified Master Arborist, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30.

A Beginning Orienteering Class will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 31. Attendees will learn what this sport is all about, and after the class, participants will try out what they learned. Children and adults are welcome to attend.
