The Elizabethtown Area Youth Soccer Program will operate on Saturdays from April 6 through May 18 (except April 20) from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Elizabethtown Area High School Field 3, 800 E. High St. This program is designed to be instructional as well as provide a chance to participate in low-competitive games. Both boys and girls in grades one through three are invited.
Introduction to Tai Chi and Advanced Tai Chi classes will meet on Tuesdays from April 9 through June 11 in the gymnasium at Rheems Elementary School, 130 Alida St. The introductory class will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with the advanced class from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Canine classes will be offered on Tuesdays, April 9 through 30, at the Elizabethtown Fairgrounds, 900 E. High St. Canine Fast Track Basic Obedience will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., with Advanced Canine Fast Track from 8 to 9 p.m.
The 13th annual four-person Spring Mix Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, April 26, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at Sunset Golf Course, 2601 Sunset Drive, Middletown. Tournament proceeds will benefit the GEARS Summer Playground Program.
A trip to Washington, D.C., to watch the Cherry Blossom Parade on Constitution Avenue between Seventh and 17th streets is set for Saturday, April 13. Departure will be at 6 a.m. from the Elizabethtown Area High School parking lot.
