More than 60 young student entrepreneur businesses from schools across Lancaster County will be showcased at the second annual Lancaster Acton Children's Business Fair on Saturday, April 6. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lancaster County Christian School, 2390 New Holland Pike, Lancaster. It is free and open to the public.
In preparation for the event, children will create a product or service, develop a brand, and build a marketing strategy. They will open for customers at the one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for setup, sales, and interacting with customers.
Projects will be split up by age group: ages 6 and 7, ages 8 to 10, ages 11 and 12, and ages 13 and 14. Cash prizes will be awarded in each of the four age groups for Most Business Potential, Most Creative Idea, and Most Impressive Presentation.
This event is sponsored by Acton Foundation, Eastern University Enactus Club, and Lancaster County Christian School.
