HUMC Plans Egg Hunt

Hempfield United Methodist Church (HUMC), 3050 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, will host its third annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m. The event will begin in the sanctuary, where Keith Buckbee, HUMC's pastor of discipleship, will share "The Story of the Empty Egg" with guests. The egg hunt will follow, along with crafts and other activities for children.

The egg hunt is open to children from birth to age 12. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration, which is required for this free event, is limited to 300 children and may be completed at http://www.hempfieldumc.org/egghunt. The deadline to register is Sunday, April 7. In the case of inclement weather, the egg hunt will be moved indoors.
