The Gen. John H. Michaelis Chapter No. 327 of the Korean War Veterans Association (KWVA) will meet on Wednesday, April 10, in the Eagle Commons of Woodcrest Villa, 2001 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster. The meeting will begin at noon. Jack Frank of Marietta will present a program titled "Peak Experience," focusing on a 30-year adventure of hikers/climbers.
Membership in the KWVA is open to all members of the military who served in Korea at any time from 1945 to the present or who were in uniform serving anywhere from June 25, 1950, to Jan. 31, 1955. A special effort is being made to recruit those who served in Korea at any time following the armistice in July 1957.
