Collinsville Community Library, 2632 Delta Road, Brogue, will have its Second Read trailer open on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a special price per bag of children's books. On Saturdays, May 4 and 18, the trailer's theme will be Spring Cleanout.
The library's annual yard and book sale fundraiser is set for May 18, with a rain date of Saturday, May 25. For more information or to secure a space, readers may call the library at 717-927-9014.
On May 18, rain or shine, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the library's new sensory walk and mural. Attendees may see work crafted by a local Eagle Scout and another local artist. In addition, every month the library hosts the artwork of one individual.
The library also hosts Baby Time, Preschool Story Time and Homeschool Learning Through Literature sessions for children. For adults, there are two book clubs, with the Novel Bunch meeting every fourth Tuesday at 6 p.m. and the Mixed Nuts every first Friday at 1 p.m.
