Delta Senior Center, 5 Pendyrus St., Delta, has posted its upcoming schedule of activities. For more information, readers may call 717-456-5753.
The schedule on Thursday, April 11, will include Sequence at 9 a.m. and floral arrangements at 9:30 a.m. for those signed up. Wii Bowling will be held at 9:30 a.m., and a program with Senior Life will begin at 10:45 a.m. Chair yoga will be offered at 12:15 p.m., and pinochle will be played at 1:15 p.m.
On Friday, April 12, Big Breakfast will be from 8 to 9 a.m., and bingo will begin at 9:30 a.m. Other activities will include cribbage at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Left Right Center at 11:15 a.m., and the knitting class from 1 to 3 p.m.
The center will host a yard sale on Saturday, April 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The sale will be indoors and be held rain or shine. Breakfast sandwiches, french fries, beverages, and pit beef and pit ham sandwiches will be sold.
Activities on Monday, April 15, will include Sew for Vets Community Sew Day from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for which volunteers are needed. The senior luncheon at Holy Cross Church will be served at 11:30 a.m. Crochet class will be from 1 to 3 p.m., with pinochle played at 7:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, April 16, activities will include bingo from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and pickleball and cornhole at 9:30 a.m. Blood pressures will be checked from 10 to 10:30 a.m., a Jeopardy game will begin at 12:30 p.m., Chef Marty will be on-site at 1 p.m., and the card game Phase 10 will be played from 1 to 3 p.m. Creative Writing will meet from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, April 17, a representative from Stan Saylor's office will be on-site from 9 to 11 a.m. Dominoes will be played at 9 a.m., and the bowlers will meet in Red Lion at 9 a.m. Wii Bowling will be played at the senior center at 9:30 a.m. Light Exercise will meet at 11 a.m., the puzzle challenge will be at 12:30 p.m., and Quilts of Valor will meet at 6 p.m.
