A free informational workshop, "Make Medicare an Easy Step," will be offered on Thursday, April 11, at 6 p.m. in the Wheat Ridge Chapel at Fairmount, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata. Jeff High, financial advisor, will conduct the workshop, which will include how, when, and where to sign up for Medicare; what Medicare does and does not cover; understanding Medicare parts A, B, C, and D; and budgeting for health care costs in retirement.
