Church Slates Easter Events

The church will observe Maundy Thursday, April 18, with a "Stations of the Cross" interactive experience that invites participants to walk with Jesus through the last week of His life on Earth. The event will run from 7 to 8 p.m. There will be a map and a guide to explain the stations for each participant. The tour is open to all ages.

The annual community Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, April 20, for children age 2 through grade five. The egg hunt will start at 10 a.m. Prizes, a Bible story, and a visit from the Easter Bunny will be part of the fun, along with a petting zoo. Children should bring baskets to collect eggs. The event will be held rain or shine. The Light Seekers Youth Group organizes the event as a service project.

A breakfast and worship service will be held on Easter Sunday, April 21. The community is invited to the breakfast, which will be by donation, at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Light Seekers Youth Group. Morning worship will follow at 10:10 a.m., with the message "New Life."
