The Historical Society of Salisbury Township will present a program on Saturday, May 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the White Chimneys Estate, 5117 Lincoln Highway (Route 30), Gap. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Alfred L. Brown, Alfred Carl Paul Gerhardt Jr. and Joan M. Lorenz, authors of "Civil War Veterans Who Lived in or Were Buried in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania."
Copies of the book will be available for purchase, as well as other historical society publications.
The event will also feature Civil War displays from re-enactors and others, light refreshments and live music by Phyllis Hummel. Civil War artifacts will also be on display.
