Blue Rock Heritage Center, 2251 River Road, Washington Boro, will host a program on Wednesday, April 17, at 7 p.m.
Barry Lee will present "Wampum Belts of Pennsylvania." Wampum belts were important components of the various agreements between the Native Americans and the early leaders of Pennsylvania's government.
Lee is executive director of Circle Legacy Center, which seeks to promote and assist Native Americans in southeastern Pennsylvania. He is also the lead singer of Spirit Wing and a master of ceremonies for many powwows. He resides in Conestoga.
