Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Road, Lancaster, will host its third free parenting workshop on Saturday, April 27, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Family Seminar Series will focus on "The Effects of Electronics and Social Media on Children's Mental Health." The seminar will be presented by Kim McDevitt, executive director of Mental Health America - Lancaster County.
Attendees will get tips on the benefits of electronics use; overcoming its negative effects on social skills, communication and relationships; and how to set successful limits. Participants will also leave with a list of resources.
