The Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce has announced that scholarship applications are now available.
The Chamber will award $1,000 to a graduating high school senior, $1,000 to a college/postsecondary student, and the Dorothy Metzler Memorial Scholarship based on community service. There are separate applications for the $1,000 scholarships and for the Dorothy Metzler Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarships are available to students who live in Mount Joy and to students who are family members of Chamber members. For more details and to obtain the applications, readers may visit http://www.mountjoychamber.com. Scholarship applications must be filled out and returned by Friday, May 10.
