Senior Center Sets Activities

Delta Senior Center, 5 Pendyrus Street, Delta, has posted its schedule of upcoming activities. For more information, readers may call 717-456-5753.

On Thursday April 25, Sequence will be played at 9 a.m. A seed pack wreath project will begin at 9:30 a.m., and music will be presented by Patrick Lampman at 11:15 a.m. The last Chair Yoga class of the current session will take place at 12:15 p.m. Pinochle will be played at 1:15 p.m.

On Friday, April 26, bingo will begin at 9:30 a.m.; there is a nominal fee per card. Additional activities will include pickleball and cornhole at 9:30 a.m., cribbage at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., light exercise at 11 a.m., the Challenge at 12:30 p.m., the Book Club meeting at 1 p.m., and the knitting class from 1 to 3 p.m.

Programs set for Monday, April 29, are dominoes at 9 a.m., Wii Bowling at 9:30 a.m., a Bible study at 10 a.m., light exercise at 11 a.m., the Challenge at 12:30 p.m., crochet class from 1 to 3 p.m., and pinochle at 7:30 p.m.

Programs on Tuesday, April 30, will be bingo from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., pickleball and cornhole at 9:30 a.m., the Jeopardy game at 12:30 p.m., the Phase 10 card game from 1 to 3 p.m., and Creative Writing from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, May 1, the representative from Rep. Stan Saylor's office will be present from 9 to 11 a.m. At 9 a.m., dominoes will be played at the senior center while a group meets to bowl at Red Lion. The senior center will also offer light exercise at 11 a.m., the Challenge at 12:30 p.m., and Quilts of Valor at 6 p.m.
