Discussion To Explore Democracy

Masonic Village at Elizabethtown will host a program "The Different Sides of Democracy" on Thursday, May 2, at 2 p.m., in the Freemasons Cultural Center's Deike Auditorium. Masonic Village is located at 1 Masonic Drive. Hosts of the weekly podcast "Democracy Works" will discuss the question "What does it mean to live in a democracy?" and lead a question-and-answer session.

"Democracy Works" is a weekly podcast created by Penn State University's McCourtney Institute for Democracy. The program was launched in March 2018 and has covered topics such as gerrymandering, civics education and political polarization. Hosts include Michael Berkman, Chris Beem and Jenna Spinelle.
