Lititz Christian School, 501 W. Lincoln Ave., Lititz, will host its annual Team McConaghay Run on Saturday, May 4. The event will include a 5K, a half-mile fun run and a chicken barbecue.
The 5K will start at 9 a.m. and will be professionally timed. The course will travel through the rolling fields of Lititz. Each participant will receive a race packet, and awards will be given out. Water will be available along the route, and there will be healthy snacks and giveaways after the race.
The fun run, which is open to everyone, will start immediately after the 5K at 9:45 a.m.

The proceeds will benefit the Team McConaghay Fund, which supports student tuition aid in the memory of former school principal Sherry McConaghay, who lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in 2016. McConaghay was instrumental in establishing the Early Learning Center, which was formerly called Morningstar.
