Solanco Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students registered strong performances in regional and state FBLA competitions.
The Solanco marketing team of Henry Woy, Erin Dobinson and Jenna Beth Phillips earned an eighth-place finish among 80 teams in states in Hershey. The contest featured an objective exam and a performance-based competition. Previously, the marketing team had earned a first-place finish in the regional contest.
Several students also earned the opportunity to compete in states after receiving high marks at regionals are as follows: Nick Jones, first place in accounting; Olivia Lasko, third place in accounting; Guadalupe Montes, third place in advanced accounting; and Anthony Mosley, second place in computer problem solving.
