An Academic Venture Grant from the Solanco Education Foundation was recently used to purchase a robotic kit for Providence Elementary fifth-graders. The kit enables the students to participate in hands-on lessons in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
The kit offers a three-level program, starting with an introduction to robotics and cluminating in more advanced activties, including computer programming.
