The Lancaster County Bird Club (LCBC) will offer several field trips in May, to which the public is invited free of charge. Registration is required no later than 6 p.m. the day before the trip unless noted otherwise. On Sunday, May 12, at 7 a.m., the activity will be a "sit" where participants bring lawn chairs and wait for the birds to come to them. On Saturday, May 18, the destination is Juniata County with a 6 a.m. start time. A set fee will be charged for a rental van. This trip is limited to 12 participants. Target birds will be the golden-winged and blue-winged warblers. Readers may contact Groff for more information.
