Playing three games against Lancaster-Lebanon League opponents, the Manheim Township baseball team saw its 11-game winning streak come to an end with three tough losses. The Blue Streaks fell to 7-5 in league play (11-5 overall).
On Monday the Streaks couldn't solve the Lampeter-Strasburg pitching staff until their final at bat. In the bottom of the seventh, the Streaks put up a three-run rally, which was too little too late in a 7-3 loss. The game was the first of Section One and Two crossovers for Township on the week.

The 4-3 loss to Solanco on Tuesday wrapped up crossover action. The Golden Mules held a 4-1 lead going into the seventh inning. Again, the Streaks fought in their final turn at bat, but came up short.
As a team, they did draw five walks, but were held to two base hits - singles by Sassaman and Moshos. All three Township runs were unearned as they took advantage of two Solanco errors.
Starter Connor Vucovich suffered the loss. Clark pitched 3.2 innings in relief and was charged with one run.
Contrary to the two earlier games where they rallied in their final at bats, the Streaks' home game against Warwick featured a first-inning offensive outburst. They scored all four of their runs in the first frame but went on to lose 10-4. The Warriors pounded out 16 hits.
Clark drove in one run and Ben DeMarco's double was the only extra-base hit for Township.
