On Wednesday, May 8, aerobics class will meet in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Mary Ellen will have a large selection of ceramic pieces to paint. Jean Gabsewics, a dietitian, will present a program on "Understanding the New Food Labels." The bridge group will meet at noon; more players are sought. Wii and table games will be available throughout the day.
On Thursday, May 9, Barb's aerobics class will meet in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A nurse will be available to check blood pressure and weights from 9 to 11 a.m. Wii games will be available. Kings in the Corner will begin at 9:30 a.m. The chair yoga class will begin at 10:30 a.m. The art class and Hand and Foot will both meet at noon.
On Friday, May 10, Barb's aerobics class will meet in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. To celebrate Mother's Day, Bruce McPherson will entertain, there will be a discussion on "What Your Mother Taught You and You Were Able to Pass On to Your Children," and special mothers will be honored.
On Monday, May 13, a group will travel to he New Freedom Family Restaurant for breakfast and fellowship. In observance of Older Americans Month, the center will offer special programs all week. Barb's aerobics class will meet in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wii and table games will be available throughout the day. Jane Thomas' drawing class will meet after lunch.
On Tuesday, May 14, Barb's aerobics class will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Art, ceramic and craft works will be on display. Beth from OSS will present a program on "Healthy Aging" at 10:30 a.m. Table games and Wii Bowling will be available throughout the day. Doug will be available to assist with computer issues after lunch. Pinochle will be played at noon.
