Chanceford Township is seeking volunteers to help with the cleanup effort along Otter Creek. Trash and non-hazardous debris, including tires, furniture, wood and plastic litter, need to be removed from both sides of the creek.
The volunteer work week began on May 6 and will continue through Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To sign up, readers may stop by the township office, located at 33 Muddy Creek Forks Road, Brogue; call the office at 717-927-6401; or email chancefordtwp@gmail.com.
