Library Seeks Art For Exhibit

Martin Library, 159 E. Market St., York, is seeking submissions for up to 50 pieces for its Summer ART in mARTin event. This season's exhibition theme is "Light and Shadow." Artwork will be displayed from Monday, June 3, through Friday, Aug. 23, at the library.

Artists may submit up to three original pieces of artwork, 2D only. Artwork must be wired for hanging (no saw tooth hangers) with a maximum framed size of 48 by 36 inches.

Entries may be submitted by email to artinmartin@yorklibraries.org. They must include the title, media, dimensions, price, and an attached jpg image for each artwork submitted. Submissions must also include the artist's name and phone number. The deadline for entries is Thursday, May 30, at 11:59 p.m.

Artists will be notified of their acceptance by Friday, May 31. At that time, the library will provide a gallery contract.
