Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer three upcoming events. The events are free and open to the public, but preregistration is required.
On Saturday, May 18, Welcome Back, Bees! will take place at 10:30 a.m. Attendees will watch the beekeeper set up the observation hive. They may ask questions and learn about the honeybee.
The Insect Safari program will be offered on May 18 at 1 p.m. for families. Participants will search for insects in the meadow and in the woods.
A Wildflower Foray will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19. Participants will enjoy a leisurely walk to identify spring wildflowers.
