The Smith Singers earned four gold medals for superior performances at the Worldstrides Music Festival in Boston, Mass. The gold medal winners were the Smith Singers, the Smith Singers Ladies Ensemble, the Smith Singers Men's Ensemble, and the Sharp Dressed Men Barbershop Ensemble, according to Smith Middle School music teacher Karen Gagliardi.
While in Boston, students visited the Salem Witch Museum, House of the Seven Gables, New England Aquarium, USS Constitution and Plimoth Plantation, along with other sites.
