The Quarryville Lions Club will sponsor a Memorial Day program on Monday, May 27, at 10 a.m. at Quarryville Memorial Park.
The keynote speaker will be Lt. Col. Philip Z. Atkinson, U.S. Air Force, Counter-Weapons Mass Destruction Planner. Members of the Solanco High School band will provide patriotic music.
The community is invited to attend to honor veterans who sacrificed their lives. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
In the case of rain, the program will move to the Kreider Building, located at the Solanco Fairgrounds.
