Library Plans New Exhibits

In June, New Cumberland Public Library, 1 Benjamin Plaza, New Cumberland, is hosting two new exhibits. Exhibits are available for viewing during normal library hours. For more information, readers may visit http://www.newcumberlandlibrary.org or call 717-774-7820.

Christy L. McKenna will display her art collection in the Charley Krone Gallery on the second floor of the library. This will be the first gallery showing for the self-taught artist. A meet-and-greet with the artist was held on June 3.

In addition, Jennifer Burke, granddaughter of New Cumberland artist Charley Krone and curator of his works, will display black and white prints and watercolor giclee prints of familiar scenes from around New Cumberland and central Pennsylvania. Works will include local landmarks and landscapes. The prints will be displayed in the first-floor showcase during the month of June.
