The Stewartstown Senior Center will offer a free diabetes education class, "Everyone With Diabetes Counts," on Tuesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. from June 4 through July 9. Attendance at all six sessions is required. Participants must be 65 or older, residents of Pennsylvania, and on Medicare.
Instruction will be provided by a qualified medical professional. Participants will learn about diabetes risks, nutrition, weight management, how to properly manage medications, and more. Caregivers of participants are welcome to attend.
