Lindbergh Programs Set

The Library System will host Neill Hartley as Charles Lindbergh at the public libraries of Lancaster County as he presents "In the Spirit of Lindbergh" programs. His appearances will celebrate this year's Summer Reading theme, "A Universe of Stories." "The Spirit of Lindbergh" programs will run from Thursday, June 13, to Thursday, Aug. 1.

"The Spirit of Lindbergh" is a fully staged one-man presentation geared toward audiences of all ages. A short informational section detailing Lindbergh's life and an explanation of the plane will follow each performance, as well as a question-and-answer period with the audience.

The program will be offered on June 13 at 11:15 a.m. at Pequea Valley Public Library (Intercourse), at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Public Library (Lancaster city), and at 6:30 p.m. at Elizabethtown Public Library; on Tuesday, June 18, at 10 a.m. at Columbia Public Library, at 1 p.m. at Strasburg-Heisler Library, and at 6:30 p.m. for Adamstown Area Library at Peace United Church of Christ, 37 E. Swartzville Road; on Wednesday, June 19, at 10 a.m. at Salisbury Township Branch Library (Gap), at 1 p.m. at Lancaster Public Library Mountville Branch, and at 6 p.m. at Ephrata Public Library; on Thursday, June 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Lancaster Public Library Leola Branch; on Tuesday, July 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Manheim Township Public Library and at 2 p.m. at Moores Memorial Library (Christiana); on Wednesday, July 31, at 10 a.m. at Manheim Community Library, at 2 p.m. at Eastern Lancaster County Library (New Holland), and at 6:30 p.m. at Lititz Public Library; and on Aug. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Milanof-Schock Library (Mount Joy) and at 2 p.m. at Quarryville Library.
