On Wednesday, June 12, the aerobics class will meet in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the senior center, Mary Ellen will be available to assist anyone who would like to paint ceramics. Participants may request specific items to paint. A veterans' services officer will be on-site from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help veterans. A program by Missy Sweitzer explaining "Car Fit and Yellow Dot" will begin at 10:30 a.m. Various table games and Wii games will be available throughout the day. The bridge club will meet at noon. Sub orders are due, with American, Italian or turkey subs available. Subs will be made on Wednesday, June 26, with pickup after 10 a.m.
On Thursday, June 13, Barb will lead her aerobics class in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the senior center, chair massages will be available for a fee starting at 9:30 a.m. A nurse will be available to check weights and blood pressures. Kings in the Corner will be played at 9:30 a.m. Wii games will be available throughout the day. Chair yoga will start at 10:30 a.m. The art class and the Hand and Foot group will both meet at noon.
On Friday, June 14, Barb will lead her aerobics class in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the senior center, fathers will be honored with special entertainment by Bruce McPherson, with strawberries and ice cream served for Father's Day. The public is encouraged to celebrate Flag Day by flying an American flag.
On Monday, June 17, Barb's aerobics class will meet in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the center, various table games will be available throughout the day. Wii bowling will be available after lunch. The board of directors will meet in the afternoon.
On Tuesday, June 18, aerobics will be held in the Community Building at the fairgrounds. At the senior center, Wii bowling will be available throughout the day. People are invited to share about their wedding day and bring in their wedding photos; this activity will continue all week. After lunch, Doug will be available to assist with computer issues. The pinochle group will meet at noon, and more players are needed. The third diabetes class will begin at 1 p.m.
